Biography:
Born in St. Petersburg into a very artistic family Peter Shpayer studied in "St. Petersburg Art School" and inherited knowledge of some of the best teachers and creative artists. He lives and works in Los Angeles, California, now. His latest art shows have been "Downtown L.A. Art Walk Show", "Eagle Rock Gallery" (L.A.), and Beverly Hills Art Walk.

Art statement:
My work depicts and implies the flow of versatile emotions of a human soul, with accents on the edge of feelings and experiences every one of may have at a certain time period of life. One word that would describe my painting is "ENERGY". I exert energy in its purest emotional form upon the colors in my paintings.The bright red colors, dominant in my work, emphasize the deepest emotions one may have, whereas more subtle colors represent hope, love, and faith. Each painting has an "energetically" influenced story
that I want to tell.
