Born in Vancouver, Canada, I was exposed to the making of art at early age since both parents sculpted and painted as a hobby. After departing form Canada I have traveled and lived throughout the southern states, eventually relocating to Los Angeles, where I have continued my commitment to being a contemporary artist for the past 25+ years.
My works, for the most part, address societal issues that cover the spectrum from birth to death and everything in between. They have been produced in a variety of mediums, i.e.: small to mural-sized expressive figurative oil paintings; pencil or pen & ink line drawings; mixed media constructions, to name a few. I like to produce my works using a variety of mediums for it keeps my works fresh and exciting for me.
