"Can colors travel backwards into the prism and why is it all so beautiful?"

Nature is my teacher and my inspiration and by far the unsurpassed
mirror. Whispering ancient tales in the wind, sharing age old wisdom
through the bird’s trail in the sky, gently awakening the senses in
the first rays of a sunrise. Listening to her is an ongoing excercise
in beginner’s mind and infinite heart.

I believe in the language of symbols, because they carry the power to
trascend barriers, allowing the mind to travel beyond the limitations
of culture, intellectual dogma and ultimately personal identity. This
is why I have chosen visual arts as my path (painting, photography,
moving images and assemblage).

Assemblage is currently my main focus, allowing me to blur the lines
between the man-made and the nature-created. In this process found
objects are fused together creating three-dimensional artisitic compositions.

Like letters are the seeds for words, found objects brought together
with intention become stories. This allows me to simplify
communication and to find a more universal representation of the
journey inwards, following the footsteps of the Soul.

I continue to be amazed by this thing called life and I want to share
my wonderment and appreciation through my art. As Walt Whitman stated, “I believe a leaf of grass is no less than the journey-work of the stars.”

And I keep asking, can colors travel backwards into the prism and why
is it all so beautiful?
