Founder of the L.A. Assemblage Group, Annemarie Rawlinson has been creating sculptures out of found objects for over 15 years.

In the series "18" squared", she aims at showcasing the beauty of one or two carefully selected found objects and contrasting them with a painted background, which frequently is inspired by the shape and color of the found object. "I intend to make the energy of the found object palpable, and take its previous life and history into account."

Rawlinson, a native of Austria, has exhibited her work in Austria, Macedonia, and throughout the United States.
